Still two weeks away from the official grand opening, but the new Everett Team Track & Community Park is already accepting deliveries via two of its three tracks.

One of the first deliveries to arrive was dropped off earlier today. On board were three new Mystery Machine Style Patrol Vans for the Everett Police Department.

Chief Milford convinced Township Trustees to ordered the custom vans after seeing the work of Mystery Inc. first hand. Knowing a group of kids couldn’t have possibly solved the Quaker Caper alone, the chief suspected their Mystery Machine must have played a key role in capturing the Quaker Man.
“If having a funky van helps the gang at Mystery Inc., then having a funky van will help this department. These vans are absolutly essential for this department to succede.” – Chief Milford.

Not everyone was so excited about the new patrol vans. In fact, many residents began making jokes about scooby-snack-donuts before the units even hit the ground.

Despite all the excitement on track 2, there was some real work being done back on track 1.

After a brief ceremony and a few words from Chief Milford, the vans were offloaded, inspected, and put into service on the streets of Everett.
