This is a great little locomotive – another perfect addition to our 0-27 collection, although I suspect it is “scale” size. Lionel based it’s 520 Boxcab on a prototype engine built by General Electric for the Chilean Exploration Company.

The models were produced in 1956 and 1957. They are as bare bones as an o gauge model can come. No horn, no lights, no bell, only one operating coupler. One feature it does have is a three-position e-unit adjustable from the top of the cab.
